Privacy Policy

analyst-server ("analyst-server," "we," "us," or "our") operates a private, invitation-only personal AI assistant known as "Ada" at analyst-server.com. The service is operated by Rob Foree (currently through Scenariolab LLC). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Who this policy covers

analyst-server is a small, invitation-based service used by the owner and a limited number of invited users (fewer than 100). We do not offer the service to the general public, and we do not market to consumers.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the service for you:

• Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and — if you choose to receive text notifications — your mobile phone number.
• Content and settings you create or configure within the service, such as tasks, reminders, notes, and notification preferences.
• Basic technical and operational data, such as log and activity information generated when you use the service, used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and maintain the service: to manage your account, to generate and deliver the tasks, reminders, notifications, alerts, and status updates you have set up or requested, to secure the service, and to respond to your support requests.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We use a small number of infrastructure and messaging providers strictly to operate the service on our behalf (for example, a telecommunications provider to deliver SMS messages you have asked to receive); these providers may process your information only as needed to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of the service and its users.

SMS / Text Messaging

If you choose to opt in, analyst-server sends you SMS text messages related to your use of the service. These are operational and account messages only — for example, reminders, task and alert notifications, security alerts, and status updates you have requested or configured. We do not send marketing text messages.

Consent. SMS messages are sent only to users who have opted in. You opt in on analyst-server.com: when you create an account or accept a guest invitation, you check a box consenting to receive SMS notifications and enter your mobile number. After you opt in, we send a one-time confirmation text message. Providing SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of creating an account or using the service. Your consent is stored on a per-user basis.

Message frequency and rates. Message frequency varies and is recurring based on your account activity and the notifications you have configured. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out and getting help. You can enable or disable SMS notifications at any time in your account settings. You can also reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; we will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will stop sending SMS messages to that number. No sharing of mobile numbers or SMS consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in consent with any third party for marketing purposes, and we do not share them with third parties for their own purposes. Your mobile number and consent are used solely to deliver the messages you have asked to receive, including through the telecommunications provider we use to send those messages on our behalf. Mobile opt-in consent is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and we delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, unless a longer period is required by law.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. The service runs on infrastructure operated by us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information consistent with the small, private nature of the service.

Your choices

You may review and update your account information, change your notification preferences, opt out of SMS as described above, or request deletion of your account by contacting robert@analyst-server.com.

Children

The service is invitation-only and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated to users through the service or by email.
